The VS Code / Cursor extension and the Chrome extension encrypt the note on your device before upload. Neither one needs an AI conversation.

Create a note from the toolbar, a selection, or a keyboard shortcut.

Shared behavior

Encryption runs locally. The sharing link’s #fragment holds the decryption key.
Burn after reading defaults to on. Turning it off requests two reads and needs a paid account.
Expiry presets run from 5 minutes to 30 days. Longer than three days needs a paid account.
A reveal password is optional. Send it separately from the link.
