Hands-on verification These checks describe expected behavior. They are not a claim that every released build has passed. Record the exact package or extension version, client, OS, account plan, and result for your run.
Use a new dummy note for every lifecycle test. Avoid real credentials and recipients. The checkboxes save progress in this browser only; no test content or result is sent to PrivateNote.

The client discovers create_private_note, confirm_private_note, sign_in, whoami, sign_out, list_sent_notes, and revoke_sent_note. A path-only request previews the correct file, expiry, and burn settings without showing its plaintext to the model. Declining the host approval dialog creates no sharing link. Accepting it creates the approved note. On a client without an approval dialog, the agent waits for a later user message before confirm_private_note; the resulting sendAuthorized is false. Change the dummy file after preview. Confirmation must refuse changed bytes; prepare and approve a fresh preview. Reuse a confirmationId or wait over five minutes. Confirmation must fail; a new preview is required. A harmless file outside allowed roots is refused. An explicitly allowed test folder succeeds after server restart. When testing delivery approval, use your own test destination. sendAuthorized is true only after the host dialog accepts that exact channel and recipient. Sign-in opens browser approval without returning the device code or approval URL to the agent. A subsequent sign_in completes the session. On an eligible account, attach a dummy file, verify its download, list the sent-note event, and revoke a different unopened test note.
